Privacy
Privacy statement
Short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no trackers and has no ads. We only receive personal data if you email us or (once it opens) sign up for the newsletter.
Who we are
This website, theinventorfiles.com, is run by Inventor Files, the YouTube channel of the same name. For anything about privacy, contact us at [email protected].
What this site does not do
We use no cookies, no analytics, no advertising networks and no social-media pixels. Fonts and scripts are served from this site itself, so visiting it does not send your data to Google or other third parties.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like every web server, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and to protect the site against abuse. We do not use this data to identify visitors. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
YouTube videos
Episode pages show a thumbnail, not a live YouTube player. Only when you press Play here is the video loaded from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. From that moment YouTube (Google) processes data according to Google's privacy policy. Links to our channel open YouTube itself.
Book links (Amazon)
Some pages recommend books with links to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, Inventor Files earns from qualifying purchases. Nothing is tracked on this site; when you click a link, Amazon may set cookies on its own site to credit the referral, as described in Amazon's privacy notice.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and keep them as long as needed for that conversation. Our address forwards through Cloudflare Email Routing.
Newsletter
The newsletter is not open yet, and the sign-up form does not send or store anything. When it opens, we will only store your email address with your consent, use it only to send the newsletter, and every email will have an unsubscribe link. This statement will then name the newsletter service we use.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us which personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email [email protected]. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
We update this statement when the site changes. Last updated: 31 October 2026.
